Of Lac-Ste-Marie (Ryanville), Alex passed away suddenly on December 21, 2019 at the Hull Hospital, at the age of 82. Son of the late Alexander Picard and the late Irene (Flynn) Picard.
He will be sadly missed by his devoted sister Sharon Marris (Tom), his longtime friend Naomi, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by siblings Howard, Leonard, Kathleen, Violet and Lyla.
Alex’s cheery kindness and friendship will be missed by the people whom he befriended over the years at OC Transpo, Mt-Ste-Marie ski hill and the village of Lac-Ste-Marie.
There will be a celebration of Alex’s life at the Community Center 10 Center St., Lac Ste-Marie, QC Saturday January 11, 2020 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
