Mr. Daniel Printup

It is with our deepest sympathies we announce the sudden of passing of Daniel Printup, 59 . Daniel was born and raised in Niagara Falls New York until deciding to persue his post-secondary education in Canada at Laurentian University.

Since Daniel has spent over the last 30 years working in public community service with various indigenous communities/organizations  on issues ranging from substance abuse, mental health ,homelessness and culture.

Dan had a great passion for working to better his people and great compassion for all life, “ We are all one” in his words. Being of Tuscarora and Algonquin heritage Daniels home community Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation located in Maniwaki, Québec has suffered a great loss in this tragic event.

Daniel was a true role model and a pillar in any of his communities. He is a beloved grand-father, father, son, brother, uncle.
