Mawjee Gahbow (Derek Dent) of the Marten clan, has begun his spirit journey home; family, friends and community are all welcomed to visit and offer prayers and share comfort with one another at the wake and viewing that will be held on Tuesday, May 29th starting at 10 am at the KZ funeral home. The burial will be on Wednesday, May 30^th, at the KZ community burial site. The son of Debra Meness and Thomas Dent, brother of Sally Meness, father to Adrian, Ayden and Joseph, as well as step-father to Drake and Shyne. Derek had a tremendous zest for life that was felt by everyone that knew him. He loved to teach and share his knowledge about hunting, fishing and the latest technology. He was always ready at a moments notice to help and guide those around him. You have touched the lives of many and you will forever be in our hearts and prayers. Chi-Migwech Mawjee Gahbow.
