Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016, at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospita,l at the age of 89. Ernie was born September 6, 1927 in Maniwaki, Quebec, son of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (McNeil) Moore. Predeceased by loving wife Doris (Ardis) Moore.
Loving father of Lois (Wayne), Larry (Arlene), Allan (Lise), Lorna (Jim), and Mary-Ann (Jim). Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Glen (May), late Eric (late Bonnie), late Reta (Eddie), and late Victor (late Hazel). Fondly remembered by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff on the fifth floor of the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital.
Friends may pay respects on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 7-9pm and Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 9am.
Funeral service will follow at St. Patrick’s Church, 253 Rue des Oblats in Maniwaki at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
