Hector Charles McGregor (Pinner), son of the late Helene Commanda and Noe McGregor and surviving brothers, Edmond (Eliza) and Earl (Lisa), passed quickly on the morning of October 31^st, 2018.  The family would like to thank the Maniwaki Hospital Doctors Frechette (ER) and Alhoussan (ICU) and the Nursing staff Angie Cretes, Caroline Gervais, Julie Beaudoin for their medical assistance and kind support. The family members (daughters Verna and Alexandra (Rob); sons Fred (Valerie), Van (Pat) and Jason; grandchildren Sheldon, Samson, Winona, Miskokijig, Courtenay, Donovan and great-grandson Waylon also thank and greatly appreciate the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Kiweda group home past and present staff over the years he lived there: Shirley Commanda-Quedent, and the PSW staff Lucie Meness, Lorraine Mayer, Maureen Smith, Lillian Cote, Anita Jacko, Georgina McConini, Sharon Perkins, Caitlin Commando, Kathleen Jacko and all of the kitchen support staff past and present for all of the personal care and assistance provided for the time that Hector (Pinner) stayed at the Kiweda Group Home.

Viewing and visitation will take place on the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg community

Nibebi Wi-ga-mig Funeral Home (Highway 105) adjacent to the town of Maniwaki, public viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, November 2, 2018 (6:00pm -10:00pm) – November 3 and 4, 2018 (Saturday/Sunday, 10:00 am-10:00 pm). Final gathering and traditional service will take place on November 5, Monday (11:00 am service-11:30 cemetery), right afterwards feast/meal at community hall (12:30 pm) everyone welcome.
