Of Maniwaki, passed away peacefully on December 1^st, 2023, at the age of 94. Daughter of the late Nellie Budge and the late JoJap. She was predeceased by her Brother Albert and daughter Marlene. She will be remembered by her living brother Joe Budge. Irene was a loving grandmother to: Melonie (Chickee), Candice, Tash (Tonto), Ryan (Tamara), and Andrew. A caring Great-Grandmother to: Sabrina, Gage, Nikki, Rylee, Shannon, Roman, Dakota, Kodiak, Geronimo, Pineshish, Star, Hazel, Tia, and Emma. She was also lucky to have been present to see her Great-Great-Grandchildren: Malaki, Declan, Shelby-Lane, Carter, Melody, Gunner, Adyson, Late Renezmai, Ember, And Thade. She will be remembered by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be celebrated at the Holy-Rosary church of Kitigan-Zibi on Thursday December 7^th, 2023 at 11 am. Irene will be waked from Wednesday December 6^th, 2023 from 10am to 12pm, 1pm to 5pm, and 7pm to 9pm. Thursday morning from 9am to 10:45am. Following the religious service Irene will be cremated and interred in the Spring.
