It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth Gabie of Lac-Ste-Marie, who departed this life on May 3rd, 2026, at the Shawville Hospital at the age of 63.
Kenneth was the beloved son of Donald Gabie and the late Barbara Ogilvie-Gabie. He was a devoted father to his sons, Jesse and Keith, whom he loved dearly and took great pride in.
He will be fondly remembered by his brother Brian (Patsy), as well as his cherished nieces and nephews: Mandy (Patrick) and Corey (Emily). Kenneth was also a proud great-uncle to Brayden, William, Logan, and Ella, who brought him much joy.
He leaves behind many cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends, all of whom will remember him for his presence, kindness, and the moments shared together.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at McConnery’s Funeral Home in Gracefield on Friday, May 15th, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 between 10am and 11am.
Cremation and interment will take place at a later date.
Kenneth will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
