Mrs. M. A. Bertha Scott

Née McGregor    

Of Kitigan Zibi, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Foyer Père Guinard at the age of 94.  She was the daughter of the late Noe McGregor and the late Marie Decontie, predeceased by several brothers and sisters and the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Scott.  Remaining survivors are daughter Dorothy (and the late Terry Lodor) of Kirkville, New York and son, Raymond Guitard (Margaret) of Old Perlican, Newfoundland; granddaughters, Kim Scott and Jennifer Daeschel (Michael Mclean) both of Ottawa, Ontario and grandson Doyle Lodor (Dawn) of Ithaca, New York; great grandchildren Desirae Odjick, Kadin and Conall Lodor, Brandon and Bradley Daeschel.  Her surviving siblings include one brother Paul McGregor (Rachel) and one sister-in-law Henriette McGregor both of Kitigan Zibi.  She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins in the Scott, Decontie and McGregor families as well as the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the late Alonzo Cayer, her last loving life partner .  Funeral services will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary church on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 am with interment at the Kitigan Zibi Cemetery to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kiweda Residence of Kitigan Zibi (phone 819-449-5170). Visiting hours at the Kitigan Zibi funeral home (91 Kitchi Mikan), Sunday, May 31, 2015, 3-5 and 7-9 pm and Monday, June 1st before the funeral at 9am.  Special thanks to Dr. Mendosa, Dr. Bainbridge, the personnel of the Foyer Père Guinard and Kiweda Residence as well as her many devoted community caregivers.  Kitchi Migwetch!

De Kitigan Zibi, est décédée le 26 mai 2015 au Foyer Père Guinard ,à l’âge de 94 ans.Elle était la fille de feu Noé McGregor et de feu Marie Decontie, l’épouse de feu Michael Scott. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille; Dorothy (feu Terry Lodor) Kirkville N.Y, son fils; Raymond Guitard (Margaret) Old Perlican Terre-Neuve, ses petits-enfants; Kim Scott Ottawa Ont, Doyle Lodor (Dawn) Ithaca N.Y.Jennifer Daeschel (Michael Mclean) Ottwawa Ont,ses arrière petits-enfants; Desirae Odjick,  Kadin et Conall Lodor, Brandon et Bradley Daeschel, son frère; Paul McGregor (Rachel), sa belle sœur; Henriette McGregor , ainsi que ses neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Prédécédée par plusieurs frères et soeurs.  Le service religieux aura lieu le lundi 01 juin 2015 à 11h, en l’église Notre-Dame du Rosaire , suivi de l’inhumation au cimetière Kitigan Zibi. Vos marques de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à la Résidence Kiweda de Kitigan Zibi. Heures de visites au salon Kitigan Zibi  dimanche le 31 mai à compter de 15 à 17 h et de19 à 21 h le lundi à compter de 9 h.
