It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Russel Commanda, he left us to join the spirit world on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Loving husband of Bernice Odjick and adored daughter Sandy (Serge Riel) and son Joseph Chausse. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Cliff (Daniele Blake) and Tara (Yan Guilbault), his great-grandchildren Jade, Daphne and Blake. Russell his survived by siblings Eleanor (Jean Guy Whiteduck), Bridget (Frank McDougall) and Joan (Clifford Tenasco).
He is predeceased by sisters Rose (John Odjick), Dolly (Donald Decontie), brothers Norman (Florence), Robert (Vivian), he will also be mourned by numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours: at the Nibebi Wi-ga-mig Funeral Home (Kitigan Zibi) Monday, March 9, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9:00 am, service at noon at the Nibebi Wi-ga-mig Funeral Home.
